Emi Rant Test

Now I am experimenting with using Blogger for the rantspace area. This might be easier, but the iframes are annoying. Please stand by while the site looks really messed up and pages are missing...

I am STILL still experimenting with my redesign of the site layout. It is all in CSS/xhtml and doesn't use any tables. I am still learning CSS, so this is all an adventure for me ^_^

The site will look really funky and probably change a lot over the course of the day today, as I figure out how to get my layout to work with keenspace's autokeen tags. Took me a little while to get that stupid advertisement banner to line up properly @_@ I will continue to try things, update the site to see the changes, then fix my mistakes, so please bear with me if everything looks broken to you.

I still haven't adapted the layout style change to the archive pages or the other pages on the site, so those will still look like a broken version of the old layout with some mismatched images from the new layout thrown in. Once I have a finalized version of the front page, which should be this evening, I will adapt it for the archive pages and the static pages (characters, links, gallery, etc)

As for the rants, keenspace doesn't really have a nice rant tag that you can use, so I am sort of experimenting with other ways to do this. You can make a text file that is named after that day's comic and use it for rants, but it sticks the text directly under the comic image, which would look really ugly in the design. So I am working on having the text files contain the CSS and xhtml to stick the text where it should be. This is fun!
