Please Help Japan

In the wake of last week's devastating Earthquake and subsequent aftershocks and tsunami, parts of Japan have been left in ruin, and basic supplies are running low. Uncharacteristically Cute Teneko and I would like to ask everyone to please consider making a donation to one of the many organizations working to send aid and relief to Japan. There are a number of organizations to choose from, and donating can be quick and easy. Sone groups accepting donations are:

-- The Red Cross You can donate directly at their site, or text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10. Heck, you can even make a quick donation through Amazon.com

-- Doctors Without Borders - They are on the ground in Japan providing medical assistance.

-- PayPal also has a section set up for donating to various Japan relief efforts.

-- The IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) is working on assisting animals affected by the quake

These are just a few options. There are numerous organizations collecting to help in Japan. Any donations would be appreciated. (But be careful of scammers. Always make sure you are donating to a reputable organization, and through their official secure site. Research the group. Avoid clicking on donation links in unsolicited email. You don't even need to click on these links, just go to the official sites for each of these organizations, and you'll tee the info on how to donate)

Obviously, not everyone has the means to donate, but if you do, please consider helping Japan.

Thanks,

Emi
