CLAMP at Anime Expo!
Waaah! A press release went out today announcing that one of my faaavorite manga groups, CLAMP (authors of X, Card Captor Sakura, Tsubasa Chronicle, Magic Knight Rayearth, etc), is going to be a Guest of Honor at Anime Expo in Anaheim this July! Gah, I want to go!! CLAMP almost never makes public appearances, and certainly not in America! But Anaheim is so far away from Texas, and I have no money ;_; Ahgh! Anyone want to contribute to my 'Send Emi to Anime Expo' fund? All you need to do is donate through that paypal link below... I think I have 5 cents so far! Go me! Woo hoo! </pathetic begging>

If you go by grey hound and budy up for the hotel its really easy to go to AX for about $200

I had to miss Anime Expo last year and one of their late guest announcements included the voice actor who plays "Reinhard" in Legend of Galactic Heroes! (Well, also "Vegeta" in DBZ, "SHun" in St. Seiya, etc. etc., but who cares about those?) Now this year I am planning to go and who do they get? CLAMP! Feh. The worst part is I'll have to bring an extra suitcase of body armor to protect myself against the rampaging hordes of Shoujo-philes who will now be storming the con.
Maybe you can sell milk-tea to raise the funds?
CLAMP and the director of FMA are going to be at AX and it'll be the first one I won't be able to go to.

Um, I'm just wondering if you can explain the "Snakes on a Plane" phenomenon. Sadly, I've been left out of the loop on that one :(
